The introduction of information technology (IT) in healthcare has led to a real revolution in the provision and management of medical care. However, they are developing with different intensity in different countries.

The purpose of the study was to test criteria to determine the degree of IT development in healthcare, as well as to illustrate the assessment of IT development in different countries to compare them with each other.

To achieve this goal, we have identified a set of criteria covering key aspects of the implementation and use of IT in medical practice.

We searched information on the level of IT development in healthcare in the countries in Google open sources and PubMed databases manually, as well as using GPT-3.5 Turbo. According to the availability and development of criteria, the degree of IT development in healthcare was assessed and the categories «Highly», «Medium» and «Less» developed were assigned.
