There is the current status of eHealth principles and methodologies applications for patient-centered care in urology in global prospect. Knowledge and involvement of patients are the key points of a patient-centered care, but it seems like they are very weak implemented in a urology practice. There are prerequisites for formation of an integrated approach to the solution of this problem. However this direction demands further research. We found main barriers for patient-centered care in urology which can be overcoming by meaningful use of digital technologies.
