Information on application of telemedicine in education had systematized. Training in telemedicine became an obligatory component of medical education. Otherwise, formation of separate specialty is not required. The modern medical professional has to have the competences and skills of the sphere of telemedicine relevant for the main specialty. The differentiated approach to training had offered. Distance learning and telemedicine are two separate subject domains.
